About Us

Meet Armin & Nicole

We're a husband-and-wife team from KwaZulu-Natal who would rather be on a gravel road than on the couch. Sexy Rexy is our Gen 3 Suzuki Jimny: small, mighty and permanently dusty. This site is where we share everything we learn from her front seats.

How it started

Our first visit to Mbuluzi Game Reserve in Eswatini in 2024 hooked us. By chance we had the entire campsite to ourselves. We went back in January 2025, and at the sundowner spot above the reserve, Nicole said yes.

Since then

A three-week wedding road trip from Richards Bay to the Western Cape. A honeymoon stop at the Jimny Gathering 2025 in the Klein Karoo, where we became part of a Guinness World Record alongside a sea of fellow Jimnys. And plenty of weekends on the trails with our local 4x4 club.

Adventure with purpose

Through Kymani & Friends, our travel mascot's project, we collect toys, books and supplies for children in the communities we pass through.
